How Acupressure Works

Acupressure is a part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TMC). The Chinese view the body as an integrated and interdependent system in which all aspects of life are intimately intertwined. Health occurs when the body's essence, energetic and spirit are in harmony and in balance.

Acupressure acknowledges 12 major energy meridians and two extraordnary vessels in the body. Each of the 12 major meridians is associated with an organ system. These meridians link the internal organs with the exterior of the body and form a network-like system, which transport energy and blood to all areas of the body.

Acupressure is non-invasive and energy points are stimulated with gentle finger pressure which help resolve injuries more quickly, reduce swelling, minimize pain, help with calming, and improve immune system conditions.

Acupressure can be a comforting and healing experience for your pet.
